The project aims to develop a sustainable AI terminology collection model by using innovative language technology solutions. By developing this model, we ensure that AI terms in Estonian, Finnish, and English are made accessible to a wider audience. By fostering collaboration between terminologists and AI experts, we seek to strengthen expertise in AI-related terminology, enhance language technology development, and support the integration of AI terminology into language and AI policies.

To achieve our objectives, we will conduct research on best practices, develop a terminology collection model, and evaluate AI-related terms through expert collaboration. The terminology will be integrated into open-access sources (Sõnaveeb and website of SK). A final conference will be held to present the project results to a wide range of public and private stakeholders.

The project will result in an AI terminology database, ensuring long-term accessibility for linguists, educators, policymakers, and industry professionals. The terminology collection model will serve as a structured framework applicable to other fields. By integrating terminology into national linguistic resources, the project will ensure a sustainable impact beyond its duration.
