▶Objectives
The project aims to equip healthcare professionals in Estonia, Finland, and Italy with skills to address child and family mental health in medical settings. It develops care pathways, training, and a digital course to integrate family-focused approaches into primary care, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. It strengthens vocational education and training (VET) by enhancing healthcare workers’ competencies, aligning with Erasmus+ priorities in adapting VET to labour market needs.
▶Activities
The project develops and pilots care pathways to guide healthcare professionals in supporting families. It engages professionals and parents through interviews and workshops to ensure relevance. In-person training will be delivered, followed by pilot testing in real healthcare settings. A digital learning platform will provide long-term access to training. Educational institutions and professional networks will be engaged to support the adoption of results, ensuring broad impact.
▶Impact
The project will produce care pathways (structured guidance for healthcare professionals to support families in medical settings), in-person training, and a digital e-course for scalable learning. Healthcare professionals will gain practical tools to support families, and parents will receive accessible materials. Pilots will ensure that training is refined before integration into healthcare education. The project sets a model for integrating family mental health awareness into VET in Europe.
