▶Objectives
The goal is to enhance institutional digital readiness by integrating AI-driven data extraction and standardized Quality Assurance (QA) models into the existing data-driven DigiReady+ framework of a previous Erasmus project, ensuring consistent, evidence-based metrics. The project will validate and refine the framework through pilot deployments across five universities, promoting data-driven decision-making, and cross-border collaboration for digital transformation in Europe.
▶Activities
The project involves building an AI-powered Knowledge Base to automate the extraction of digital readiness indicators from institutional documents, and standardising data sources by incorporating European QA standards into the DigiReady framework. The framework will be piloted at five universities in two phases, employing both quantitative and qualitative metrics. Dissemination will include workshops, open-source resources, and publications to promote broader adoption.
▶Impact
The project will result in an enhanced DigiReady tool that features AI-based document processing, seamless QA data integration to the framework, and successful pilot deployments at five institutions that demonstrate its use in four different countries. It will provide consistent, digital readiness metrics, reduce reliance on subjective surveys, and offer concrete guidelines for broader adoption. This will empower institutions with strategic insights to sustainable digital transformation.
