▶Objectives
The objectives of the CLIMA project include developing the competencies of adult learners and educators to become active agents of change in the process of reducing the use of plastic waste through sustainability education. By creating a practical toolkit, an online environment, and educational videos, the project fosters environmental awareness and provides theoretical and practical tools for young adults to participate in local community projects.
▶Activities
The project will implement several key activities, including the creation of the CLIMA toolkit and digital platform free for users, which will provide resources for environmental education. Additionally, a Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) in Greece will test the toolkit with young adults. Partners will host local dissemination events and run a social media campaign to promote the project results. Two transnational meetings will ensure coordination and progress
▶Impact
The project will result in the development of a CLIMA toolkit on plastic waste reduction, an online platform, and a set of educational videos. This should improve awareness for the young adults on matters concerning the environment and also offer NGOs and educators with means through which they can compile their courses on sustainability. It will create strong and sustainable partnerships with partners and create a network of NGOs aimed at promoting environmental education.
