โถObjectives
Digital Generations addresses the urgent need of partner organizations to equip seniors with essential digital skills while fostering intergenerational learning. San Juan de Dios, ILKSENOL, and TWTrends lack the resources to develop a structured digital training program independently. This project will bridge the digital divide, strengthen seniors' autonomy, and provide youth with leadership experience, promoting social inclusion and European values.
โถActivities
We will implement six intergenerational digital literacy workshops, where youth volunteers train seniors in smartphone use, social media, cybersecurity, and e-health services. The project will also develop the Digital Generations Toolkit, ensuring seniors and educators have accessible, structured learning materials. Given the lack of existing resources within partner organizations, this initiative is crucial for long-term implementation and replicability.
โถImpact
Digital Generations will provide 300 seniors with essential digital competencies, fostering independence and inclusion. 150 youth volunteers will gain mentorship experience and leadership skills. The Digital Generations Toolkit will enable San Juan de Dios, ILKSENOL, and TWTrends to continue digital training beyond the project, addressing a structural gap in resources and ensuring long-term sustainability and policy influence on digital inclusion.
