▶Objectives
This project aims to enhance environmental awareness and resilience among students&teachers, focusing on erosion, afforestation and sustainable land management. By equipping participants with practical skills, digital tools and hands-on environmental activities, we seek to empower them to take active roles in conservation efforts. Collaboration between partner organizations will strengthen environmental education, disaster preparedness and sustainability initiatives in schools&local communities.
▶Activities
The project combines in-person and virtual activities, including teacher training, student activities and community engagement events. It features three mobility programs centered on afforestation, erosion control, and sustainable land management, alongside three virtual activities focused on biodiversity conservation, sustainability and erosion prevention. Teachers will gain training in innovative environmental education, while students will participate in interactive sustainability activities.
▶Impact
The project will lead to increased environmental awareness, improved teaching methodologies and the development of sustainable learning resources. Participants will gain practical skills for conservation while schools will integrate sustainability into their curricula. The creation of an Education Toolkit and Land Management Guidebook will provide lasting educational materials. The project will foster school-community partnerships, ensuring long-term impact & sustainability beyond its duration.
