▶Objectives
The objectives of this project are to raise awareness among students about the importance of carrying out sustainable development with the planet and the people who inhabit it, promoting STEAM disciplines through the innovative methodology of Learning Boxes, to reduce the gap in the fields of science and technology that affects young people living in rural areas, promoting full and equal access for women and girls in science.
▶Activities
Two preparatory visits will be carried out, one by Italian teachers to the Spanish school and the other by Spanish teachers to the Italian organisation. Six learning boxes will be designed and created to work on the 17 SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. A five-day mobility of Italian students (18 students + 4 teachers) will be carried out to the Spanish organisation and a visit to the Barcelona Science Museum. In addition, there will be activities to disseminate the project.
▶Impact
The aim of this project is to increase students' awareness and commitment to caring for the planet and the human rights of the people who inhabit it, promoting STEAM disciplines in rural areas. Introduce the Learning Box methodology in both organisations. Bring scientific disciplines closer to all students, reducing the gender gap. Improve the internationalisation process of both organisations. Improve professional teaching skills.
