▶Objectives
The main objective is to boost the awareness of the potential of STEAM (Science, Teachology, Engineering, Art, Math)-pedagogy in learning. From the students' point of view, the objective is to enhance skills for collaboration, problem-solving, regulation, and use of ICT. From the teachers’ perspective, the aim is to enhance competences to conduct STEAM-projects. From an organizational perspective, the objective is to strengthen the existing collaboration, and to broaden European STEAM-network.
▶Activities
We are going to implement following activities: 1. Management and coordination of the project 2. Developing and writing a STEAM-handbook (e-book) for teachers and principals (also to teacher educators and curricula developers) 3. STEAM-learning module for lower secondary school (grades 5-9) students 4. Two transnational project meetings, including a mini-conference related to STEAM 5. Dissemination and exploitation activities, including a conference presentation and related empirical article
▶Impact
In line with previously mentioned activities the main results will be: - Project documentation (quality assurance plan, project plan etc.) - STEAM-handbook for teachers (e-book) - Pedagogical script for the STEAM-learning module - Training material for teachers - Dissemination material such as blog posts, video and/or interview podcasts, and posts in social media - Improved skills for collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, regulation, and use of ICT among teachers and students
