▶Objectives
The project "Improving Civic Education in School" aims to strengthen young people's engagement in democratic life and raise awareness of European issues. Five institutions from different European countries (Finland, France, Spain, Romania, Turkey) are participating in a simplified partnership. The objectives include deepening civic education, fostering pedagogical innovation, and promoting exchanges between European youth to encourage civic participation.
▶Activities
The project includes, as part of Civic Education classes, the preparation of actions and participatory workshops with students on specific themes related to raising awareness and understanding of the EU context. These actions and workshops will be implemented during transnational forums. Those identified as outstanding will be featured in educational publications aimed at the European teaching community and the general public.
▶Impact
Expected results include an improvement in students' civic engagement and a better understanding of European values. Partners will benefit from diverse expertise and an international network, enriching pedagogical practices. Students will participate in forums and workshops, developing intercultural and linguistic skills. The exchange of good practices and the creation of accessible resources will renew civic education and encourage democratic participation within their communities.
