The project aims to create a coherent set of activities, on how students in secondary education can reach out to the environmental treasure outside of their schools through hands-on activities and develop inner skills allowing them to analyse and communicate the aforementioned treasure. In so doing, students will be able to analyse any form of the environmental situation presented before them, grasping its needs, unique qualities and threats even beyond those taught by the school curricula.

The planned activities will end in reaching project objectives and producing project results and outcomes. Partners will implement activities such as training of trainers, capacity building workshops for teachers, creating environmental experiences, learning through the local environment, promotion and awareness raising. The piloting and integration of project results into the curriculum, hands-on learning activities, multiplier events, seminars, webinar,local trainings will also be implemented.

Teachers will be equipped with the necessary skills to inspire and motivate students for a more collective and sensitised approach to environmental issues, while students will understand the importance of their role about environmental issues and will acquire skills on sustainability, climate change and the environment. The project will develop an innovative experiential learning methodology as an extra-curricular activity, learning scenarios, educational materials and a digital platform.
