▶Objectives
Collaboration between a French and a Croatian VET school focuses on sustainable restaurant concepts. Croatian students will develop eco-friendly cooking practices, while French students design energy-efficient installations. The project promotes green skills, teamwork, digital literacy, and English proficiency. It also strengthens international partnerships, enhances teacher training, and raises environmental awareness in local communities, improve student employability and adaptability.
▶Activities
Through blended and physical mobilities students work on creation of A Green Worker of Tomorrow Checklist, an engaging and informative document promoting green work habits and structured into two key sections: sustainability in the catering with advice for food and energy management in professional kitchens, and eco-responsible practices for HVACR technicians, which outlines sustainable installation practices while considering energy efficiency, building characteristics, and climate factors.
▶Impact
The project develops students’ workplace-based environmental awareness. They gain green skills, to become more competitive and eco-responsible. It also strengthens transversal skills like teamwork and problem-solving while improving English and digital competencies. Teachers benefit from enhanced skills and project-based learning integration. The project boosts school competitiveness, fosters partnerships, and raises environmental awareness, improving employability and adaptability.
