The E-LEAD SPORTS project aims to transform sports education by integrating AI, AR/VR, and adaptive learning technologies into curricula and training methodologies. It seeks to bridge the digital gap in sports education by developing an AI-powered e-learning platform. The project will engage over 1,000 participants, including trainers, coaches, and students from European universities, VET centres, and sports academies.

The project will include activities such as curriculum development, platform testing, train-the-trainers programs, and pilot implementations to ensure the platform’s effectiveness and scalability. It will use innovative teaching methods, including gamification, flipped classrooms, and problem-based learning, combined with AI-driven adaptive learning, motion analysis, and VR/AR simulations to enhance learning.
▶Impact
Expected results include improved learning outcomes, enhanced teaching methods, and wider institutional adoption of the platform in at least 20 universities and sports academies. This will foster inclusive sports education, providing access to digital tools for diverse learners, including those with disabilities. The long-term benefits will include sustainability through MOOCs, certifications, and expanded partnerships, ensuring lasting impact on sports education policy.
