▶Objectives
The project is largely based on a strong pre-existing Erasmus+ cooperation, reinforced by new partners from the Aurora alliance (UPEC). The 6 partners all have significant national experience in training teachers of German as a foreign language, which they wish to share at European level by unifying practices through joint integration while renewing them through the development of new tools taking into account current technological advances such as AI.It leads to a common European training
▶Activities
We will use scientific research on multilingualism developed by each partner to apply it to a multilingual and multicultural learning and teaching public in all partner countries. We will develop a textbook for teaching German as a foreign language in paper and digital form, incorporating the contributions of AI, written in German and translated into the languages of the partners. We are putting into practice in schools the joint work carried out by the various partners as part of the WPs
▶Impact
Our project aims to use the teaching of German as a starting point for a Europe-wide movement of unifying the various European practices in language teaching and other disciplines. It will incorporate the development of new tools created using innovative practices. We are also taking account of the strong involvement of our partner universities in innovative fields. This could lead to the creation of a European master's degree in German language teaching, culminating in a European diploma.
