Objectives

The SIMPEC-T project addresses the challenges of demographic ageing, the lack of recognition of skills and the lack of attractiveness of care professions. It aims to improve the skills of local stakeholders, develop innovative training courses leading to qualifications recognised in Europe, and experiment with and capitalise on good practices to structure solutions adapted to the challenges of the PHS sector.

Activities

The SIMPEC-T project is based on three major actions: study visits in Europe to identify, analyse and disseminate innovative and transferable good practices training of partners and elected representatives in the issues at stake in the territory, and development of micro-certifications adapted to carers and professionals. The objective is to structure certifying training courses adapted to the challenges of ageing in Europe and to strengthen the support for elderly people with a loss of autonomy

Impact

The SIMPEC-T project will result in appropriate certified training courses, better recognition of skills, and a sustainable structuring of training courses at the European level. It will strengthen the skills of local stakeholders, improve the attractiveness of healthcare professions, and encourage the testing of innovative solutions. Finally, it will contribute to better coordination of local policies in the face of the challenges of ageing.
