Objectives

The TransmigrationS project has 4 general ambitions: - to propose alternative, decent and real-life narratives on gender and queer migrations - to enhance the quality of youth work and non-formal education in the treatment of gender and queer migrations - to create spaces of expression by young people on the fight against racism and LGBT+phobia - to explore the impact of inclusive and intersectional approaches in the success of the abovementioned ambitions

Activities

To achieve the project's 4 main goals, we will implement these activities: 1 on-site Training Course 1 online Conference 3 Coaching Days (online & on-site) 1 on-site Working Session 1 Artistic Travel Journal 1 on-site Creative Residency Creation of Pedagogical Activities 1 Evaluation Process & Report 4 on-site Workshops with youth across 4 countries 8 advice sessions between professionals and youth 1 Social Media Campaign

Impact

Expected results: - Gender and queer migrants feel heard, empowered, and better represented in education - Youth workers and educators gain confidence in facilitating activities on gender and queer migrations - Young people become informed on gender and queer migrations and identify ways to promote inclusive societies - Participants recognize their role as allies in the fight against racism and LGBT+phobia.
