Objectives

Implementing the NourishWell project will be an important step in bringing together experts in clinical oncology and healthcare systems with biologists, nutritionists, chefs, and vocational schools for Nutrition and Food Technology to elevate the education on personalized dietary approaches in oncological patients. We hope that this will be an example of how beneficial such a collaboration can be for all the partners involved and the success of the healthcare of oncological patients.

Activities

We will design, create, and pilot a blended learning programme for nutritional and dietary support to the treatment and post treatment of oncological patients. Programme will be disseminated through partners' social media and their networks. IGET will dedicated project website and regularly update social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram) with project news, outcomes, and success stories.

Impact

This programme will be designed with the vocational school so that it can readily be implemented in the school study programme, making it more relevant to the current requirements of the healthcare system. This content can also easily be adapted for the training of many different stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved in the whole treatment and healing journey of oncological patients thus directly influencing the success of their path towards living better and healthier.
