The overall objective of Equal Steps is to produce new pedagogic resources and practices that impact adult education provision in the realm of family support – ensuring a heightened understanding of Gender Equality and its importance in family learning.

Equal Steps will implement 5 Work Packages. These include the development of a number of new resources, hosting of an array of events and delivery of: WP1: Project Management and Implementation WP2: The Equal Steps Gender Equality Campaign WP3: The Equal Steps Parents Programme: Parenting with Gender Equality in Mind WP4: Equal Steps Practitioner Resource Pack WP5: The Equal Steps White Paper Additionally: 2 WP meetings, 1 LTTA, pilot trainings, family celebration events and a conference

Equal Steps expects the following results: - A consortium with increased capacity to address Gender Equality in practice - A Gender Equality campaign with varying learner engagement opportunity to disseminate results - A 6-module parents course on Gender Equality connected to parenting - A resource pack for practitioners consisting of a blended learning course and methodological tools - A White Paper detailing the project and best practice
