Objectives

The AM-Heal project bridges the gap between Additive Manufacturing (AM) and healthcare education by developing a Level 9 Micro-Credential to enhance digital skills and professional competencies. It fosters cross-sector collaboration, improves employability in AM-driven industries, and promotes sustainability and inclusion. Additionally, AM-Heal supports Ukraine’s recovery by modernising medical education and equipping professionals with AM expertise for innovative healthcare solutions.

Activities

The AM-Heal project will implement a Level 9 Micro-Credential through a structured curriculum, hands-on training, and digital learning modules. Activities include stakeholder consultations (+15 entities), e-learning development, pilot testing (80 participants), and accreditation processes. Additionally, the project will establish a 3D printing hub in Ukraine, conduct multiplier events, and ensure wide dissemination via EU platforms, conferences, and social media.

Impact

The AM-Heal project will deliver a certified Level 9 Micro-Credential, an interactive e-learning platform, and open-access educational materials. It will establish a 3D printing hub in Ukraine, produce research-based policy recommendations, and foster cross-sector collaboration. The project aims for increased digital innovation in healthcare, and the long-term adoption of AM technologies in medical education and professional training.
