▶Objectives
"EMC" aims to enhance the skills of 40 adult representatives of migrant NGOs in Austria and Italy, their organizations and affiliated members (approx 1,500 tot), in the field of project writing/management, with a focus on Erasmus+ projects. The specific goals are to improve their employability, support the growth of their organizations, contribute to the creation of a EU network of migrants NGOs, promote EU values & democratic participation.
▶Activities
-Local training course (20h in each country, 40 beneficiaries in total) -Mobilities: two training activities (12 participants) and two staff meetings (4 participants) in Austria and Italy -Elaboration of a Training Module on project management and proposal writing for Migrant Associations Members and of a Collection of Recommendations on working with Migrant NGOs on the abovementioned topics -Implementation of two Final Multiplier Events with at least 81 participants in total
▶Impact
The project will enhance the capacity of migrant associations' members to engage with EU values and respond to their communities' needs. Key results include the development of a Training Module for future use by new migrant communities, that will raise migrants' emploiability, and a Collection of Recommendations to promote intercultural sensitivity in project design, strengthened partnerships across Europe, and increased participation of migrants in local and EU-level policy-making initiatives.
