Objectives

With this project, we wish to raise awareness of the risks associated with ‘sharenting’ and improve the management of children's online privacy among professionals working in the educational and social field. We want to provide them with practical skills and tools to educate families and prevent issues related to sharing content on social media. Furthermore, we intend to create a professional support network to foster the dissemination of best practices.

Activities

Training: We will organise training cycles for professionals and parents, covering the risks of ‘sharenting’, online privacy management practices and strategies for effective communication with families. Courses will include theoretical and practical modules and group discussions. Awareness-raising: We will launch awareness-raising campaigns on the risks of ‘sharenting’ through social media and other communication channels, to involve professionals, families and the community

Impact

We expect the project to raise awareness among professionals, educators and teachers about the risks of ‘sharenting’ and the protection of children's privacy. Participants will develop practical skills to educate parents and students by improving communication strategies. A community of practice will be created for the continuous exchange of good practices, with sustainable impact through educational materials and awareness-raising campaigns.
