▶Objectives
In this critical moment for democracy in the EU, we aim to create spaces for reflection on the theme of Power. We will strengthen community-based education hubs to foster inclusive, engaging environments for adult learners, empower communities through participatory methods, and pilot innovative learning approaches. Through book clubs and discussion groups, we will encourage deeper engagement with social issues and power dynamics, promoting critical thinking and collective action.
▶Activities
To ensure shared understanding of power analysis, the project includes two in-person training sessions (in Croatia and in Italy) and 20 online book club meetings (The Power Book Club). The in-person sessions will focus on practical learning and relationship building, while the online meetings will enable ongoing reflection and quick communication of ideas and questions.
▶Impact
The main result will be a digital manual featuring theoretical insights on power analysis in education and organizing, practical methodologies, and a framework integrating Freirean perspectives, deep community organizing, and Legislative Theatre. Developed through pilot programs and training sessions, it will include multimedia case studies (videos, photos, reports). The project will also create tailored teaching materials for adult education, inspired by the online book-club.
