▶Objectives
RE:MAKE Youth aims to integrate makerspaces and circular economy discussion and practice into youth work, equipping youth workers and young people with practical skills in sustainability, repair culture, and circular economy practices. The project will foster long-term engagement, active citizenship, and innovation, ensuring that youth spaces across Europe become hubs for hands-on learning and environmental responsibility.
▶Activities
The project will develop and test a makerspace methodology, create the "Part of this World" card game, and implement Repair Cafés, MakerTalks, and Slow Hackathons across partner countries. A 5-day international training for youth workers will ensure the methodology is widely applied, while the International Slow Makerspace Conference will promote long-term sustainability and policy engagement.
▶Impact
RE:MAKE Youth will produce an adaptable makerspace methodology and an interactive sustainability card game. At least 510 young people and youth workers will participate in local and international events, with project tools reaching at least 40 external organizations. The project will establish a lasting digital community, ensuring continued engagement and expansion of makerspaces in youth work.
