Objectives

To enable more European VET schools to reap the fruits of the Global 3D printing project. To establish long-lasting partnerships between VET schools in the field of 3D printing. To enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the field of a) 3D design and 3D printing, b) the SDGs, c) international skills (English as a second language and intercultural communication), resulting in better job opportunities on a rapidly changing labour market.

Activities

Preparations: 3 virtual meetings and physical life meeting with the curriculum workgroup Kick-off event: week where all teachers and students (4 per school) gather (in Spain) to start the project National lessons: 4 to 8 lessons per partner school to draw and design Closing event: week where all teachers and students (4 per school) do their final printouts and present their work project management: all relevant activities to enhance adequate project management.

Impact

Long lasting partnerships between the VET schools involved. The partner schools to include (elements of) the 3D printing program in their regular curriculum. The partner schools to introduce and promote the 3D printing project within their (international) network of partner schools, for it to spread as an oil stain. Offer VET students of various levels (EQF level 2 to 4) and nationalities to work together on an inspiring project with an international dimension and tangible 3D printed results.
