Objectives

HERVoice strengthens democratic structures and promotes active civic engagement by providing adult education through neighbourhood centres and community organisations. The project empowers women with limited access to social and economic opportunities due to socio-economic challenges, migration status, or systemic discrimination. By enhancing their knowledge of democratic principles, critical thinking, and personal empowerment, the project fosters social inclusion and stronger community capacity

Activities

The project delivers 4 workshops to equip women with democratic knowledge and critical thinking skills. Neighbourhood centres receive a Democratic Participation Lesson Package, including training materials and guidelines for local political involvement. To ensure real-life civic engagement, the project organizes engagement activities, dialogues with local authorities, a study visit to the EU in Brussels (15p), and a final online EU conference (50p) to share key learnings and foster collaboration

Impact

HER Voice develops a Lesson Package in six languages, training 10 community organisations and empowering 150 women to engage in civic life. Through 10 local political activities, 5 dialogues with policymakers, and an EU study visit, participants gain experience in democratic processes. The project enhances confidence, critical thinking, and active citizenship, culminating in an EU conference and policy recommendation, expanding stakeholder networks to ensure long-term sustainability and impact.
