▶Objectives
Over the past couple of years, we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of youth work practices around us. Nowadays, anyone can become a youth worker without having to meet specific standards or requirements. Through this project, our goal is to create a series of engaging professional development modules to support our participants in creating and facilitating educational activities. By doing this, we hope to give young people better and more accessible learning opportunities.
▶Activities
We are going to create a work lab environment, thus offering gradual development opportunities for our participants. Our learning package will include the following activities: - two transnational project meetings; - seven work labs (through which we aim to train the competencies of our participants while exchanging our expertise); - one multiplier event in each country; - four local actions in each country. Through each of these, we will strengthen our international learning community.
▶Impact
We will develop a series of online educational modules, thus sharing our quality standards with other youth workers and youth organizations. To make these dynamic, we will use a video format, creating educational videos that summarize the non-negotiables of a learning experience. We will pair these videos with a list of resources coming from various fields. Through our clear guidelines and training efforts, we will strengthen the quality and presence of youth work on a European level.
