▶Objectives
Our general objectives are raising awareness and strengthening strategic cooperation in the field of dementia through continuous learning and innovative activities among organizations in Europe and beyond. Specific objectives achieved by implementing this project will include inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, and capacity building.
▶Activities
Few activities will be conducted:Conducting research on dementia awareness activities (including interviews and literature review); Developing a freely available data base in a data repository with many potential awareness activities and initiatives as well as resources attached to them; Organizing onsite and online training; Disseminating results by publishing scientific articles, webinars, and media events. Cooperation and communication with all Partners is central to project implementation.
▶Impact
We will strengthen cooperation among EU countries in dementia, avoid stigmatization of dementia persons, and foster understanding and inclusion of affected families. We will improve caregivers’ and volunteers’ skills, who will be the motivators. Project’s accessible database of awareness-raising activities will improve knowledge about existing awareness raising activities; online learning program will increase digital skills of elderly people, caregivers and persons living with Dementia.
