▶Objectives
By implementing the project, the Lateral Thinking Foundation wants to increase the linguistic, digital, creative and social competences of seniors, counteracting their social isolation and educational exclusion. Through innovative methods of art therapy, storytelling and digital tools, we want to strengthen the self-confidence of seniors in international contacts, promote civic and intergenerational activity and permanently enrich the educational offer of our organization and foreign partners.
▶Activities
We will implement educational mobilities for seniors and educators in Włocławek and Budapest, during which participants will take part in language, digital and artistic workshops. Seniors will develop visual identification of educational games - cards and memory flashcards. Educators will create detailed scenarios of artistic and linguistic classes, which will be published in the form of a PDF manual. We will publish the final teaching materials and provide them to senior education institutions.
▶Impact
The project will result in an increase in seniors' language, digital and social competences, reduction in their isolation and the establishment of lasting international contacts. Educational materials will be created: 50 sets of tarot-inspired cards, 50 sets of memory flashcards and a PDF manual containing 20 scenarios of artistic and language classes for seniors. The materials will be transferred to educational institutions, which will ensure a lasting impact of the project on senior education.
