EcoDigital Seniors offers the joint development by practitioners of non-formal adult education from non-governmental organizations in Poland and Latvia of "tailor-made" non-standard educational and development materials. These materials provide digital education (so needed by older adults) and ecological education (favored by seniors, important for the Planet, and improving quality of life) to seniors aged 60+ from rural areas and small towns who are excluded or at risk of digital exclusion.

Development, testing, and scaling of non-standard methods and tools for digital and ecological education for seniors, based on the concept of active learning, using, among others, nature walks, environmental knowledge quizzes, and communication with the world through mobile applications. Creating a space for the exchange of experiences and international collaboration between our organizations to promote long-term social engagement of older adults, with an emphasis on their social inclusion.

The development, based on international collaboration among NGO trainers, of 10 lesson plans creating an e-Toolkit (educational toolbox) along with practical guidelines to facilitate their implementation, will strengthen and expand educational competencies and elevate our organizations to a level of European partnership. The developed methods and tools can be used for educating older adults who are excluded or at risk of digital exclusion, as well as for integrating seniors into social life.
