Objectives

The MediaSmart project aims to enhance the media and digital literacy of adults by educating them in critical thinking, content analysis, and online privacy protection. The main objectives include developing skills to identify disinformation, use social media consciously, and strengthen social resilience against media manipulation. The project supports active digital citizenship and promotes ethical behavior in the online space.

Activities

The MediaSmart project includes workshops, training sessions, and webinars aimed at developing adults' media and digital literacy. Participants will learn critical content analysis, how to identify disinformation, and how to protect their online privacy. Interactive educational materials, e-learning courses, and fact-checking tools will be developed. Local micro-initiatives will raise public awareness of responsible digital media use and ethical communication.

Impact

The MediaSmart project will enhance media and digital literacy among at least 150 adult participants. Interactive educational materials, including online courses and fact-checking tools, will be developed. A report on the impact of disinformation will be created. Participants will become more resilient to media manipulation, while local initiatives will raise public awareness of critical thinking and responsible digital media use.
