▶Objectives
The objectives of the project are to train educators and seniors in creating podcasts, which will empower seniors to introduce social change in their local communities. The project also aims at raising the competences of trainers / educators in the 6 participating countries: Poland, Bulgaria, France, Portugal, Cyprus and Slovenia and inspiring seniors to share their expertise and also to develop co-operation between senior organisations / communities across Europe.
▶Activities
Numerous activities will be implemented within the project, including 6 international workshops for seniors’ educators, international workshops for seniors, piloting workshops with seniors on creating podcasts in 6 countries, 6 multiplier events (including an international one in Poland), 6 transnational project team meetings, international webinars, development of an online course, a webportal with podcasts and good practices.
▶Impact
The planned project outcomes will be the following: an online course on creating podcasts for educators / trainers working with seniors, including 7 series of thematic podcasts, a web portal in 7 languages (PL, SI, BG, GR, FR, PT and EN) with a range of 25 series of podcasts and resources both for trainers / educators and for seniors. Also a set of good practices collected in all participating countries during piloting phase.
