▶Objectives
The project aims to empower LGBTQI+ students in higher education by improving inclusion, accessibility & mental well-being. It will develop research-based tools, provide policy recommendations & engage key stakeholders through Delphi panels. By fostering institutional change, the project seeks to reduce discrimination, promote safer learning environments & enhance institutional policies supporting LGBTQI+ students, ensuring equitable access to education & student services.
▶Activities
The project will develop the Intersect+ App, ensuring accessibility, security & usability through user testing. It will collect & analyze data on LGBTQI+ student experiences, producing peer-reviewed publications. Delphi panels in each country will engage stakeholders, leading to policy briefs with actionable recommendations. A multilingual dissemination strategy, including a website, newsletters & social media, will maximize impact & ensure broad outreach across diverse communities.
▶Impact
The project will deliver the Intersect+ App, providing LGBTQI+ students with tailored support & resources. It will generate a comprehensive dataset on LGBTQI+ student experiences, leading to three peer-reviewed publications. Five Delphi panels will engage stakeholders, resulting in five policy briefs with concrete recommendations. A multilingual dissemination strategy will ensure wide accessibility, raising awareness & promoting institutional change across higher education.
