GREENByte project aims to establish a sustainability-driven digital culture by integrating Green Software into HEIs' curricula and promoting hands-on applications. It empowers students and educators through hands-on learning, industry collaboration, and open-access resources, ensuring long-term impact. Connecting HE, industry and policy makers, GREENByte drives systemic change, continuously shaping European digital sustainability policies and promoting GSE to improve the digital landscape.

-Structured curriculum on Green Software Engineering (GSE) in HEIs; -Open-source digital platform offering learning materials; -Competitions, awards and mentorship to engage students in real-world sustainability challenges; -Educator training programs to enhance green coding and GSE teaching; -Increased awareness among HEIs, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, fostering curriculum integration and policy changes; -Synergies between HEIs and the tech industry aligned with SDGs.

The GREENByte project drives systemic change in higher education by integrating Green Software Engineering and Green Coding. It develops a sustainability-focused curriculum to equip students with essential skills and establishes the GREENByte Hub, an open-access digital platform. Through Byte4Green Battles and mentorship, students tackle real-world sustainability challenges. Educator training enhances teaching, while policy Vademecum promotes curriculum integration and industry collaboration.
