AID Ready– AI-Powered Disaster Preparedness Training for VET Learners
▶Objectives
The AID Ready project aims to enhance disaster preparedness by equipping VET learners, trainers, and emergency responders with AI-powered training tools. By integrating immersive simulations, real-time data analysis, and decision-support systems, the project ensures all emergency responders access the same data simultaneously, enabling a coordinated disaster response-management system and strengthening crisis response capacities across Europe.
▶Activities
The project will develop AI-powered disaster preparedness training modules, 12 immersive VR/2D/3D simulations, and an interactive digital platform. It will integrate real-time data-sharing mechanisms, ensuring emergency responders coordinate effectively. Activities include expert consultations, training material development, pilot testing, stakeholder webinars, and an International Multiplier Event to maximize impact and sustainability.
▶Impact
A comprehensive digital training platform integrating AI-powered disaster simulations and real-time response tools will be developed.The project will deliver 12 disaster scenarios,an AI-driven assessment tool and multilingual training modules. The project will enhance crisis response coordination,improve decision-making skills among emergency responders and establish a sustainable,technology-driven training resource for VET institutions and disaster management agencies across Europe.
