Objectives

The main targets of the project: to support young single parents, provide them with equal opportunities and to provide them an access to formal and non-formal education together with development of flexible and practical solutions. The objectives include four main areas: encourage social inclusion, promote formal and non-formal education opportunities, support quality development together with innovation and properly disseminate the project in order to reach wider audience

Activities

1.Project Initiation & Best Practices (Portugal, 4 Days) – Online kickoff + training for 2 single parents & 2 educators per partner on entrepreneurship, digital skills, and employability. 2.Develop Flexible Solutions – Mobile app & toolkit for career, financial, and entrepreneurial support. 3.Educator & Support Network Training (Spain, 4 Days) – 4 educators per partner + local training for young single parents. 4.Dissemination – Newsletters, digital outreach & final conference (40 participants)

Impact

The results of the project “FORTUNATE PARENT” should consist of increased social inclusion, socialization while being entrepreneurial, self-confident, creative and open-minded. Participants will be able to realize how to balance successfully between being entrepreneurial and fortunate single parent raising baby, toddler or child. After the project, the participants will put the efforts to promote entrepreneurial and personal skills of single parents in order to increase their well-being.
