The Unlocking Digital Doors project aims to enhance digital literacy and civic engagement among Roma and immigrant parents by equipping educators and community leaders with innovative teaching strategies and digital tools. The project fosters inclusion, social participation, and access to essential online services while building sustainable digital education models that can be replicated across different communities.
▶Activities
The project includes interactive training sessions (LTTs), the development of an e-learning platform, Curriculum Development for Digital Literacy: to meet the needs of diverse learners, and hands-on workshops to integrate digital skills, civic tech, and innovative teaching methods into community education. Activities include curriculum development, digital literacy training, civic engagement forums, and dissemination efforts to ensure long-term accessibility and impact.
▶Impact
The project will result in a fully operational e-learning platform, a structured digital literacy curriculum, and an engaged network of trained educators and community leaders. It will empower Roma and immigrant parents with essential digital skills, enhance community-driven civic participation, and influence education and inclusion policies. Project resources will remain accessible for sustained impact beyond Erasmus+ funding.
