▶Objectives
The Elder to Elder: Herbal Wisdom project aims to promote active ageing, lifelong learning, and sustainability by documenting and sharing traditional knowledge about medicinal plants. Through intergenerational and digital education, the project fosters community-based learning, enhances digital literacy among elderly participants, and strengthens environmental awareness. The initiative also builds partner organisations’ capacity in Erasmus+ project implementation and sustainable education.
▶Activities
The project will engage 45 elderly participants (60+) from Romania, Latvia, and Malta in interactive workshops, combining traditional and scientific knowledge of medicinal plants. A Memory Bank platform will be developed, featuring 10 educational videos, research-based content, and practical guides. Pilot testing, transnational collaboration, and dissemination activities will ensure accessibility, quality, and long-term impact. Partner organisations will gain expertise in digital learning.
▶Impact
The project will deliver an intergenerational educational program, a Memory Bank platform documenting 10 key medicinal plants, 10 high-quality educational videos, and structured digital and offline learning resources. At least 100+ users will access the platform, and 45 elderly learners will gain new skills. Partners will improve their Erasmus+ implementation capacity, while the project’s results will be widely shared through media, conferences, and the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.
