Objectives

We would like to provide educators with the skills and resources to identify and address prejudices in the classroom, promote inclusive teaching practices, and establish an educator development program that facilitates knowledge sharing and long-term impact within the educational community by implementing the EQUAL project.

Activities

We will conduct a comprehensive survey to identify prejudices in the classroom, introduce and analyze the Unconscious Prejudice Test, compile a best practices guidebook, and create a specialized educator development program. Additionally, we will organize 2 LTT sessions to train the teachers and pilot the program nationally, ensuring continuous refinement through feedback.

Impact

We expect to produce a survey report in detail on prejudices in the classroom, an in-depth analysis of the Unconscious Prejudice Test, a widely utilized best practices guidebook, and a robust educator development curriculum for educators. Following implementation, we anticipate the development of trained educators, successful LTT sessions, and an improved, feedback-driven training program available in all partner languages.
