โ–ถObjectives

As an institution, to bring STEAM education approach to the forefront in mathematics teaching. As mathematics teachers, to make students realise how mathematics is used in every field with innovative methods, to enrich our lessons by combining real world problems with disciplines such as technology, art and energy. We want disadvantaged students to benefit from this process at the highest level by making mathematics more understandable and accessible to students.

โ–ถActivities

In Turkey, participants will be given robotic coding training to show how technology and mathematics can be used together. In Italy, the combination of mathematics and art will be discussed and the effects of the structural aspects of mathematics on art will be explored. In Romania, renewable energy sources and energy saving issues will be integrated into mathematics and good practice examples that support analytical thinking skills required by digital transformation will be presented.

โ–ถImpact

We aim to increase the awareness of teachers, students and parents about STEAM and to ensure their active participation in applied workshops. We aim for teachers to prepare innovative lesson plans by integrating STEAM into their mathematics curriculum and share these plans with other teachers in the school. By bringing all these good practices together, we plan to prepare a comprehensive e-book at the end of the project and make this resource available to everyone.
