Objectives

This project aims to increase student participation by spreading democratic school culture, and to strengthen inclusive and fair decision-making mechanisms in school management. In addition, it is aimed to support participatory education with digital tools, to ensure the integration of refugee and disadvantaged students into educational processes, and to develop democratic education policies. The project aims to promote democratic education throughout Europe by creating sustainable models.

Activities

The project will include four main events: Workshops on democratic school management, training in digital participation tools, developing inclusive education models for refugee and disadvantaged students, and organizing a Europe-wide democratic education policy summit. In each event, teachers, administrators, students, and parents will actively participate to create sustainable democratic school models.

Impact

At the end of the project, student councils will be established in each school, democratic school management models will be developed and student participation will be increased with digital tools. Resources such as "Democratic School Handbook", "Democratic Digital Tools Guide" and "Inclusive Democratic Education Model" will be created. In the final stage, "European Democratic Education Manifesto" will be prepared and shared with the authorities to guide education policies.
