▶Objectives
The "AVE" project aims to improve the quality of life of older people through education and social inclusion. As a result of a strong European partnership, the project develops and implements an innovative guide that will help older people to cope more easily with the challenges of aging. The guide is based on the direct self-referential perceptions and experiences of a group of older people, processed and integrated by experts into a useful and accessible electronic tool.
▶Activities
1. Identify the priorities and typology of attitudes of seniors regarding the aging process and adaptation challenges. 2. Develop a learning guide to support integration, social adaptation and transition to old age. 3. Implement the guide, test it and disseminate it to ensure its future improvement.
▶Impact
1. Increase the degree of autonomy of older people, by mobilizing available knowledge and resources. 2. Create an educational model that can be reproduced in other European countries. 3. Promote social inclusion and active and engaged ageing. 4. Develop sustainable partnerships between the organisations involved.
