People from all age groups are affected by climate change, but young people will be faced with the effects of climate change throughout their lives as they are the future heirs of the Earth. In order to integrate the disabled and their families into the awareness of this human problem, we aim to increase the competence and experience of teachers in this regard; with the help of associations. We aim to include these individuals in social cohesion.
▶Activities
We plan to increase the knowledge and experience of the participants,to teach environmental concepts to students with special educational needs by using various branches of art,to carry out sports activities that can be done in nature in open spaces,to make usable objects from recycling materials with artistic studies,to innovative approach in eco-school and to ensure that partners have the ability to transfer them.
▶Impact
We aim to provide educators with an information resource with the help of a website and e-book for the desired behaviors that can raise environmental awareness to these students, with schools at different levels working with students with special educational needs; to raise awareness about environmental problems with short films and activities to be prepared for students, parents and stakeholders with whom we interact.
