▶Objectives
The project aims to improve the competencies of teachers and parents in using puppetry as a pedagogical tool to develop emotional intelligence and empathy in children. Through international collaboration with Finnish experts and practical training, participants will learn methods to support children in understanding and expressing emotions. ▶Activities
The project includes job shadowing in Finland, where participants will observe the process of creating and performing puppet shows. After that, Finnish experts will come to Serbia, where they will conduct training for teachers, educators, and specialists, demonstrating how puppetry can be used to develop social-emotional skills in children. We will develop educational materials and spread the results through online events, social media, and the media.
▶Impact
We expect the project to contribute to the increase of teachers' and educators' competencies in using puppetry in education. We expect to establish long-term international cooperation between Serbia and Finland, develop educational materials to be used in educational institutions, and spread the project results through the media and social networks. We aim for the project to raise awareness about innovative methods in education and ensure the sustainability of the skills and knowledge gained.
