Objectives

The Inclusion Lab project aims to enhance students' social and emotional skills, fostering empathy and respect for values that support safe and positive learning environments. Teachers will be empowered with knowledge, skills, and quality materials to foster inclusion and wellbeing in classrooms. Students will actively create peer-to-peer inclusion projects, promoting respect, collaboration, and shared values. Peer learning will strengthen collaboration among teachers across the EU.

Activities

Main project activities: - Handbook for teachers to guide them in fostering safe, connected, and inclusive learning environments. - On-site international workshop to empower teachers for their work with students. - Implementation of the Inclusion Lab initiative in schools. - Compendium of best practices implemented by teachers and students. - Two online conferences to raise awareness about inclusive practices. - Four national workshops to engage and motivate more teachers to adopt the initiative

Impact

The Inclusion Lab project offers quality handbook and compendium of best practices for fostering inclusion in schools that can be used beyond the project. Teachers and students will be empowered to engage in creating inclusive learning environments where values of respect, diversity, and empathy are fostered. Students will co-create their own inclusion projects, while teachers will boost their knowledge, skills, and confidence for inclusive education supporting their professional development.
