▶Objectives
VIRTUAL JOB aims to support the digital upskilling of Europe’s Employment Counsellors, Job Brokers and Guidance staff (in Careers) working with VET graduates, job seekers and labour market (re)entrants of all ages to access employment and educational pathways. Specifically, VIRTUAL JOB focuses on recent innovations and adaptations in digital and virtual environments for diagnostic, screening and matching functionalities by companies & education authorities for preboarding, onboarding & mobility.
▶Activities
Implemented in 6 countries, VIRTUAL JOB designs and validates tests new human- centred learning and upskilling C-VET for Employment Counsellors and vocational guidance practitioners. Its contents focus on cutting edge uses of Augmented and Virtual Reality job matching environments (virtual job fairs) and AI-based interfaces. Engaging direct with 100 practitioners, it is implemented through flexible, expert, responsive action learning with local and transnational masterclasses (on- and off-line).
▶Impact
VIRTUAL JOB creates a new European Cooperation Partnership of 6 countries representing incoming’ and ‘outgoing’ levels of migrating job seekers. It directly engages a minimum of 100 Employment and vocational guidance practitioners in consultation, action learning and co-creative peer review; produces a new Methods-based framework, a digital compendium of resources, recommendations report comprehensively disseminated at national events and a transnational conference.
