โ–ถObjectives

BeeSensorVET project aims to promote sustainable apiculture by developing an innovative digitally-enabled VET workshop program. The project will integrate advanced sensors and AI to enhance current and future beekeepers' digital literacy and resilience. It will contribute to environmental protection by reducing bee losses. The project also fosters social inclusion by offering opportunities to unemployed individuals and women in rural areas to develop skills in sustainable beekeeping practices.

โ–ถActivities

We will implement various activities, starting with the development of a hybrid training program for beekeepers based on research of state-of-the-art practices that combines traditional training methods with advanced tools such as sensors and artificial intelligence. Additionally, we will develop a web-based system to track learners' progress and conduct pilot and practical workshops to test innovative learning content and enhance digital literacy among beekeepers, VET educators, and students.

โ–ถImpact

BeeSensorVET aims to deliver a hybrid VET workshop program integrating AI and sensor technology for sustainable beekeeping. Key results also include a web-based platform to track learner progress, enhanced digital literacy for beekeepers, VET students, and trainers, and the development of tailored training content. The project will strengthen the stakeholder network, disseminate results through events, and promote environmental sustainability by improving hive management and reducing bee losses.
