Objectives

Project aims to enhance youth workers' skills in supporting young people’s active participation in decision-making and civic engagement. It seeks to equip 30 youth workers with tools and methods for fostering leadership and social responsibility among young people. Additionally, the project aims to improve collaboration between 60 youth and 23 local decision-makers, promote the recognition of youth work, and create a sustainable platform for sharing knowledge and resources on youth participation

Activities

We will implement two residential training courses for youth workers, focusing on youth empowerment, decision-making, and civic participation. The project will include testing and refining more than 10 methodologies for active youth engagement, followed by the development of an online self-directed training program. Website will be created to share resources, methods, and video content. Social media dissemination, workshops, and follow-up activities will ensure broad outreach and sustainability.

Impact

The project will result in enhanced skills for youth workers, enabling them to better support youth engagement and leadership. Young people will gain competences in decision-making and active participation in their communities. The project will create a user-friendly website with resources and methodologies, along with video content to complement training. Additionally, the project will raise awareness of youth work’s importance, fostering stronger collaboration between youth and community.
