Objectives

The project aims to empower and support teachers in delivering high-quality science education. By providing innovative educational materials and training workshops, it enhances their ability to engage students effectively. Collaboration between eduB and ISTA strengthens the link between education and current scientific research, fostering a more informed and scientifically literate society.

Activities

The project will develop educational materials based on current scientific research and best practices in science education. These materials will integrate problem-solving, data analysis, and hands-on activities in alignment with the STEAM approach and will be tested and refined based on teacher feedback. Teachers will be trained at workshops to use these resources effectively in the classroom. The project fosters collaboration between educators and researchers to ensure high-quality teaching.

Impact

The project will contribute to improved scientific literacy among both teachers and students. Teachers will gain new skills and confidence in using modern methods to engage all students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds As a long-term impact of more engaging and effective education, more students will develop an interest in the natural sciences and pursue studies and careers in STEM fields, strengthening scientific knowledge and innovation in society.
