Objectives

This project aims to create a parent support model that helps individuals with disabilities consciously guide their career processes. By encouraging active family involvement, we aim to increase access to education and employment opportunities suited to their abilities. The project will analyze best practices, develop a common model, and disseminate it. This will foster the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the workforce, supporting social inclusion.

Activities

The project will start with a virtual introduction meeting, followed by process planning. Observation and interview forms will be created to examine the career processes of individuals with disabilities. A workshop on career barriers will be held in Bulgaria, and a career guidance model workshop along with expert training will take place in Portugal. In Turkey, a closing and dissemination meeting will be held to share the project results.

Impact

The project will develop a model to support the career planning of individuals with disabilities. Career barriers and support mechanisms in participating countries will be analyzed, and best practices will be shared. Guidance materials will be created for experts and families, increasing awareness. Project outcomes will be disseminated through the website, social media, and local events, ensuring a sustainable impact.
