▶Objectives
The ESG-AI project aims to increase the competences of SMEs, VETs, accountants and auditors in sustainability reporting. Through an AI-supported digital training platform (ESG-AI Hub), it aims to address knowledge and skills gaps in sustainability reporting. The project will provide important guidance especially for SMEs that are not yet legally obliged to report but need to comply with environmental, social, governance (ESG) standards in terms of supply chain and financial sustainability.
▶Activities
A modular training platform and interactive training contents will be provided in the field of sustainability reporting. Beginner, intermediate and advanced level training modules, self-assessment tools and analyses that will provide data for policy development will be provided. Real case studies will be analysed to investigate the impact of sustainability reporting on business performance. A report will be prepared for decision makers with concrete recommendations.
▶Impact
The most tangible output of the ESG-AI project is the development and making widely accessible of the AI-powered ESG-AI Hub platform. This platform will offer digital training tools and automated assessment systems that facilitate sustainability reporting for SMEs, accountants and VET providers. The project also aims to produce key outputs such as Sustainability Reporting Roadmap, Modular Training Curriculum, Self-Assessment Tools, Strategic Sustainability Plan and Policy Recommendations Report.
