EngineerTrack: Gamified Internship Tracking and Skill Enhancement App for Future Engineers
▶Objectives
This project, led by BTU, provides a gamified internship to enhance engineering education. The EngineerTrack App integrates rewards, levels, and progress monitoring with industry and faculty mentor training. Results will be shared through publications, conferences, and networking, with skill development and lifelong learning.
▶Activities
The five work packages are managed by BTU for operations, CRSL for quality, SIT for dissemination, and OMBF for risk management. WP2 develops a competency framework, WP3 designs and pilots internship content, and WP4 works on developing the gamified EngineerTrack app. WP5 prioritizes dissemination via publication, participation in conferences, and long-term influence through industrial collaboration.
▶Impact
The project delivers a Competency Framework, a Modular Internship Content, the EngineerTrack App, and a Training for Trainers Program. Dissemination includes social media, research, conferences, and industry-academia events for lasting impact.
